Unifying and empowering podiatric physicians in providing excellence in foot and ankle care for all Texans.

The Texas Podiatric Medical Association has been working for you to advance the cause for 100 years. And, although our association has deep roots in the past, we work to advance our field for the future. Goals of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association include:

  • Secure enactment and enforcement of fair laws for podiatric medicine
  • Guard the interest of podiatric physicians
  • Promote quality foot care for Texans
  • Protect member interests with managed care
  • Promote parity for podiatrists
  • Provide a united voice for the profession
  • Represent member interest in all legislation that impacts specialty medicine

Texas Podiatric Medical Foundation

The Texas Podiatric Medical Foundation (TPMF) is the charitable arm of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association representing 600 podiatric physician offices throughout Texas. The TPMF develops programs to educate and assist those in need of proper foot health care. Programming includes:

  • Medical missions
  • Shoe drives
  • Indigent care programs
  • Medical Spanish and localized education courses
  • Post graduate residency mission grants for DPM residents
  • Supporting and networking of Texas podiatric residency training programs
